I know that I can get so caught up in taking care of my family or spend too much time working that I often forget to prioritize self-care. Yet, I know that when I am happy it carries over into all parts of my day and even the smallest moments of self-care can have a big impact. Something so small as enjoying a cup of coffee after the morning rush of getting the kids ready presses my mental reset button and re-energizes me! So when my coffee machine broke (after having the same one for 15+ years), I immediately started my search and found Walmart’s interactive coffee maker buying guide very helpful! Walmart Home has become one of my go-to sources when looking for home items these days because their prices are great and the shipping is fast!
I ended up choosing this amazing coffee maker because it had the option to brew multiple cups in one pot as well as use the single-serve pod cups! I make a large pot of coffee in the beginning of the week and store the rest in the fridge for iced coffee. But if I do want a hot brew as an afternoon treat, I can pop in a single serve k-cup! I also love that it has the grind and brew function so that I can use coffee beans and get the freshest brew. But, if you prefer using ground beans, the same coffee maker has that version too (and it even comes in white)!
To make this coffee station even more of a self-care experience, I also decided to get this electric milk frother and it is awesome! It makes cold foam, warm foam and warm/thick foam with a touch of the button. I feel like I have my own mini coffee shop at home now! I think this frother would make an excellent gift this holiday season and am definitely planning on gifting it to family members. And as usual with Walmart, it’s at a great price point too.
I’ll link some of the coffee makers I was eyeing before I decided on which one to purchase. Coffee maker designs have come a long way! There are so many styles and colors to choose from that can really fit into your kitchen’s decor.
